Beaverbrooks the Jewellers in Chester is celebrating the arrival of Tudor watches with the help of David Mitchell, Chester’s Town Crier, welcoming customers to the store.

Tudor’s history stems from Hans Wilsdorf, a leading figure in the Swiss watchmaking industry and the founder of Rolex.

In 1946 Wilsdorf founded Tudor – a new company, creating timepieces with all of the dependability of a Rolex watch, but at a more modest price.

Today, the range comprises Heritage models influenced by 60 years of watchmaking flair.

Sam Taylor, store manager at Beaverbrooks the Jewellers in Chester said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been selected to stock the Tudor watches in our store. We’ve had lots of interest in the run up to our launch event and can see it being really popular with our customers.”

A family-run business since 1919, Beaverbrooks has played a part in the nation’s marital celebrations for nearly 100 years, helping to celebrate a wide variety of beautiful engagements and weddings through the creation of stunning designs over the last century.
