Tigers mascot Roary was guest of honour at the launch of the 2015 Triumph Tiger 800 motorbike at Bill Smith Motors in Chester City Centre.

The event on Thursday, January 29, saw Roary – from The Tigers in Telford – celebrate Triumph’s new adventure bike with staff and customers.

The 6ft furry mascot joined in with demonstrations of the Triumph Tiger, which is set to take the motorbike market ‘by storm’.

Henry Hughes, from Bill Smith Motors, said: “The new Triumph Tiger is a fantastic piece of engineering and is sure to impress customers, both old and new.

“The Tigers are the most talked-about ice hockey team in the country, so having Roary here was the perfect fit for our launch.

“We have a range of special offers across the whole Triumph Range, so we want people to come down, take a test ride and decide for themselves.”

The launch saw hundreds of people pack into the Chester dealership, with interest in Triumph currently at an all-time high.

Paul Thomason, general manager of The Tigers, was delighted to support the event.

He said: “We want to make as many people as possible aware of The Tigers, and how we are breaking the mould in ice hockey.

“When we were asked to support the new Triumph Tiger, we jumped at the chance. It is a fantastic motorbike and like The Tigers, a great example of British excellence.”
