A Saltney mum and entrepreneur has been nominated for five awards.

Laura-Louise Cheers, who runs a wedding photography business and a mobile pot-painting service for children, is up for a Wales National wedding award, a Wedding Industry Award, a Guides for Brides wedding award, BizMums Host of the Year and Creative Bizmum of the Year.

The BizMum award winners will be announced on Saturday, October 17, at Alsager’s Manor House Hotel.

When she isn’t behind the camera photographing weddings throughout Cheshire, Wirral and North Wales, Laura-Louise indulges her love of ceramics visiting schools, nurseries and events, helping children create fabulous keepsakes like personalised handprint baubles and footprints on tiles.

Earlier this year, the mum-of-one became the BizMums host for Chester.

BizMums is a social enterprise which offers support and development opportunities for mums running their own businesses in a family-friendly networking group.

Laura-Louise said: “It is such a privilege to be nominated for any award, but to be a finalist in two award categories is very humbling, knowing the quality of the other finalists.

“The award nomination for Creative BizMum recognises the journey I have been on to start, grow and nurture a creative business.

“The wedding photography nominations recognise the creativity and skill required to be a photographer and knowing that my clients consider my skill to be worthy of an award is just fabulous.”
