WHEN Business Network Chester founder Tracy Griffiths met up with city-based town crier David Mitchell to ask for his help in spreading the word about her group’s booming membership he asked for a favour in return.

David was keen to meet the 70 plus members of the group at their monthly lunch meeting at the Doubletree by Hilton hotel at Hoole, Chester so he could raise awareness of his new book For Crying Out Loud.

“So we decided to become a town-crying duo for a few minutes during the meeting so I could crow about my membership reaching 75 and so David could let everybody know about his fabulous new book,” said Tracy.

“In return I made the pre-lunch announcement in my usual style so that everybody sat down by the appointed time,” said David.
