Models took to the catwalk to showcase a Tarporley fashion designer’s new bridal range at her annual charity fashion show.
The fourth fashion show, held at Colshaw Hall in Over Peover, near Knutsford, saw more than 100 guests from across Cheshire turn up to enjoy a look back at Sally Ellis’ successful designs from her Sve label, as well as the launch of the new Sally Victoria range.
The Sve name has been a big hit at Sally’s boutique in the High Street, Tarporley, and has created a celebrity following over the past four years, with stars such as Coronation Street’s Denise Welch, Paula Lane, Catherine Tyldesley and singer-songwriter Rebecca Ferguson among those wearing her outfits.
Sally, originally from Christleton, Chester, also starred in popstar Rihanna’s TV show Styled to Rock and won designer of the year at the Fashions Finest Awards.
Each year Sally teams up with Richard Phillipart, hair stylist from The Boutique salon and Spa in Great Sutton, to hold the show-stopping couture fashion show.
This year the event was raising money and awareness for Alzheimer’s, a charity Sally holds very close to her heart, after her grandmother Ann sadly passed away from the disease this summer.
The launch of Sally’s new bridal collection, Sally Victoria, was the main focus of the night, with hand-made Couture wedding gowns closing the show.
Boss model management supplied the models for the fashion show, while Cake from Chester provided the guests with delicious bespoke Sve cupcakes.
The event raised £1,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society charity.
