Detection dogs from a Flint-based business are in training at a Chester self-storage facility.
The canny canines from Wagtail International are on patrol at Chester Self Storage where they are trained to detect a wide variety of things from illegal tobacco and drugs to bodies and bombs.
There are a variety of goods stored inside the facility ranging from tarantula tanks to selfie sticks.
Wagtail International were established in 2003 and have gone on to win numerous awards. They are the only private UK Company that provides body detection dogs (to detect illegal immigrants) for the UK Border Force.
Store manager James Matthews said: “It’s our pleasure to provide Wagtail with somewhere to train their dogs. It’s exciting to be part of training that could potentially save people’s lives.”
