Chester digital marketing agency Reckless won the Best New Business Culture title at this year’s UK Agency Awards.

The awards, which are run by Don’t Panic Event Management, recognise excellence in the way that agencies are run, marketed and grown. The national awards receive entries from across the UK making for stiff competition to even be shortlisted, let alone win.

Reckless had been shortlisted for two awards: Best New Business Culture and Best Medium Agency, beiing pipped to the winning post for the latter.

The award ceremony took place at the Emirates Stadium in London.

Managing director Callum Reckless said: “We were thrilled just to be shortlisted for not one, but two awards. To actually go forward and win Best New Business Culture was a phenomenal achievement for the team as a whole.

“The last 12 months has seen the business grow and mature into a truly award winning agency. Having brought on board nine new team members in 2016 alone, it was key that we created a culture that embodied our core business values and the individuality of the team.

“Winning this award is testament to the hard work of our team, specifically our head of culture and fame Lindsay (Reckless) who has driven the implementation of the fantastic culture we all enjoy at Reckless.”

Earlier this year, Reckless was ranked as the sixth Elite Agency in The Drum Independent Agency Census 2016, in partnership with the Recommended Agency Register (RAR).
