CHESHIRE Oaks Designer Outlet celebrated the arrival of autumn/winter collections by displaying the first dress to be made of leaves from Delamere Forest.

Staff at the McArthurGlen outlet gathered more than 2,000 leaves to create the bespoke dress, which features an autumnal train reaching up to 60 metres long.

The new collections are expected to attract more than 1.8 million shoppers to the centre before Christmas.

General manager Colin Wilding said: “Our designer collections are seeing strong sales uplift as shoppers seek out key investment pieces, but at a lower price.”
