ADRIAN Latham is managing director and founder of thefurnituremarket.co.uk.
He grew up on a farm in Cheshire with his parents who were antique dealers; as a child he earned pocket money helping his parents to wax and French polish antiques.
After university, armed with his knowledge of furniture and passion for business, he set his targets to establish an online furniture retail company but soon out grew the ‘corner space’ in his mother’s antiques lock up.
Since 2004 Adrian has grown the business and thefurnituremarket.co.uk has seen strong performance in the ‘clicks over bricks’ retail model.
In quarter one and two of this year web traffic is already 75% of the while of 2011, with sales continuing to rise.
