There are just two weeks to go before we reach the deadline for the Cheshire Business Awards 2016 so get your entries in now!
This week we turn our attention a very special individual category which always attracts a pool of highly talented nominations.
Young Business Person of the Year, sponsored by Bentley:
Are you or one of your employees able to demonstrate outstanding achievements in your field? Our young business person of the year will be aged 35 or under and will display excellent career progression, leadership and management.
Last year’s winner was Sam McGarrigle of Beer Dock.
Awards judge Dave Furnival, director of business banking at NatWest, said: “We are delighted to support the Cheshire business community through the 2016 Cheshire Business Awards.
“There are some excellent, growing businesses in Cheshire doing great things to develop the local economy, expanding into new and often overseas markets, investing in the development of their people and supporting local charitable causes.
“This year we are sponsoring the Business of the Year 11 to 50 employees category as part of NatWest’s commitment to supporting businesses beyond banking. The category showcases how businesses across the county are impacting the growing economy.
“I am looking forward to judging this year. The standard was very high in 2015, which is a testament to the great businesses in the community. The Cheshire Business Awards is a wonderful way to acknowledge their achievements and we look forward to celebrating with the nominees.”
