A WEST Cheshire AC athlete went through an entire league season with a flawless unbeaten record.

Alice McMahon did not taste defeat in this year’s Youth Development U17/U20 Track and Field League.

The talented sprinter celebrated another 100m and 200m double success story at the final round of the series, staged at Ashton Under Lyne.

She also anchored the U20 women’s 4x100m relay team of Olivia Montez-Brown, Ali Burkett, and Danielle Erskine to victory in 51.6 seconds.

McMahon blasted her way to an U20 women’s 100m victory in 12.5 seconds and secured a 200m win in 25.7 seconds, and she was backed up by B 100m winner Burkett (13.3) and B 200m winner Erskine (27.7).

Burkett added fourth spot in the 400m with 65.9, while Erskine won the 100m hurdles (17.9).

Montez-Brown scored a triple success in the U20 women’s shot (8.92m), long jump (5.36m) and triple jump (10.25m), alongside B shot winner Sophie Percival (8.60m) and B long jump winner Erskine (5.05m).

Charlotte Williamson clocked a winning time of 12.5 seconds in the U17 women’s 80m hurdles, and won the long jump with 4.71m.

Emily Ball won the U17 women’s discus (33.83m), shot put (12.13m), and finished third in the B hammer (18.21m), while Percival won the U17 women’s javelin with 32.25m.

Montez Brown also finished third in the javelin (24.13m) alongside Georgina Moulton who was third in the B event with 12.14m.

Laura Jones was fourth in the 100m (15.3) and 200m (32.3), while Moulton was fourth in the 300m (52.2).

Zac Holland won the U20 men’s 800m in 2:07.3, finished third in the B 200m in 25.6, and finished fourth in the 400m with 58.2.

Sam Rimmer won the U20 men’s triple jump with 12.06m, finished third in the 110m hurdles with 21.0, third in the 400m hurdles with 65.4, and third in the long jump with 5.25m.

Sam Pierre-Louis was second in the U20 men’s 100m with 12.1, third in the 200m with 24.4, and third in the B long jump with 5.21m.

Niall Harrison won the U17 men’s 400m (56.1), rounded the U17 men’s 100m in 12.4 for third spot, and was fifth in the 1,500m in 5:59.1.

Matthew Pagan finished second in the U17 men’s 800m in 2:19.5, and was fourth in the shot (7.55m).

Nick Mitchelson hit 35.42m for second spot in the U17 men’s javelin, finished fourth in the discus (18.07m), and was fourth in the hammer (23.58m).
