Kyra Panchenko's make-up advice for Chronicle readers:

What are your top beauty products?

1. City Girl Firming leg Shimmer - for toning and firming, apply a thin layer all over body and allow to dry before getting dressed.

For pallid legs and arms, apply a small amount and then build the color by applying another layer, making sure to really work it into the ankle and knee area. Allow to dry before getting dressed.

Tip: For a special event, you can apply baby oil gel first, allow to dry and add City Girl on top for an 'extra' glow that really looks amazing in photos.

Shu Uemura hard formula eye brow pencils, they have the best consistency of all brow pencils I have come across.

2. Bobbi Brown lip tints for a natural lip colour.

What colours and trends will be in for spring?

Well defined and pencilled eyebrows! Using the Shu Uemura hard formula eye brow pencils!

Top tips for how to transform yourself in a rush?

I always recommend never leaving home without applying your mascara.

To give bottom lashes a boost, apply mascara to a soft brush (I like to use a square flat brush) and gently smudge it into the bottom lashes. It makes bottom lashes look fuller.

Also, I use my favourite concealer, Clinique Line Smoothing Concealer, as a quick fix and skip the foundation. Use it under the eyes and in the corners to brighten, on the sides of the nose which tend to always be a bit red when you wake up and for those that have a bit of droopiness in the corners of your mouth, just a tiny dab of concealer will brighten and lift.

Then brush over the face with a little bronzer instead of blush for a healthy glow!
