Liverpool Sound City returns from May 22-24 and you could be there for free by entering our fabulous competition to win tickets.

It’s an exciting year for the festival which is moving to a specially developed site on the Docklands at Bramley Moore Dock.

The three headliners for this year are Belle and Sebastian, The Flaming Lips and The Vaccines.

Sound City CEO Dave Pichilingi said: “We promised a massive and credible line-up this year and we delivered. The Vaccines, The Flaming Lips and Belle and Sebastian will play to an audience of thousands in one of the coolest cities in the world on the banks of the River Mersey in the unique setting of our brand new Docklands home. It does not get much better than that.

“Add to that literally hundreds of the best and brightest acts from around the world who will join them on the bill.

“We are so excited about the endless possibilities of our new festival home. It means we can offer so much more than just a live music festival. We can immerse our audience in an amazing setting with the best backdrop in the world and give them a totally fantastic experience.”

There will be non-stop entertainment, parties and a bag full of surprises. Each day will end with a massive spectacle as the event heads into its headline artists and parties on until the early hours of the morning.
