Police are appealing for the public's help in finding out more information about two incidents in a Chester park.
At about 6.45am on Wednesday November 26, a 34-year-old woman was walking her dog in Westminster Park when she was followed by a man who fled the scene when he noticed other dog walkers in the area. He did not touch or attempt to engage the woman in conversation.
The man is described as white and between 5′8" and 5′9" tall with blond hair and dark clothing.
It comes just days after an incident of indecent exposure which also happened in the park, at about 7.30pm on Saturday November 22.
On this occasion, a 52-year-old woman was walking along when a man exposed himself to her. He is described as white, about 20 years old and wearing dark clothing.
Police are investigating whether the two incidents might be linked.
Inspector Brian Green of Chester Outer Neighbourhood Policing Unit said: "We are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the incidents who has seen anything significant to come forward.
"Officers are currently carrying out a number of enquiries in a bid to trace the men and patrols have been stepped up in the area to actively target those responsible and to reassure members of the local community.
"We are urging members of the public to be vigilant when walking alone and to report any suspicious activity immediately."
