Swimming volunteers have had their efforts recognised.

Chairman of Ellesmere Port ASC Matthew Gibbs made the presentations on behalf of the Ellesmere Port & Neston Association of Voluntary & Community Organisations.

They recognised two stalwarts who had clocked up at least 25 years’ voluntary service each to the club and two who had offered 100 hours’ voluntary service on behalf of the club in the last 12 months.

Proud recipients of the 25-year awards were Les Collier, who has 30 years service, and Enid Jeffries, who has been helping the club for 41 years. Those with 100 hours’ service in the past 12 months were Colin Bradford and Ray McKay.
