Entrepreneurial business students from West Cheshire College are organising a Christmas market for staff, students and the public to get into the festive spirit.

The students are putting on the free markets as part of their course which will transform the college into a winter wonderland on Wednesday and Thursday, November 27 and 28.

The market will provide fun for all of the family as children can visit Santa’s Grotto and the adults can visit a number of stalls selling gifts including cheese, handbags, jewellery, cakes, clothes, hand-made crafts and much more.

Business student Jodie Hill said: “We decided to organise the Christmas market for the practical side of our course. The college has put Christmas markets on for the past two years which have been really successful and we are hoping to recreate the success this year.”

“The markets will provide fun for all of the family and it is a perfect opportunity for people to buy stocking fillers.

“All of the proceeds for Santa’s Grotto will go to Claire House Children’s Hospice so we are encouraging everybody to come along and support a local charity.”

The Christmas market will be held on Wednesday and Thursday between 10am-5pm at West Cheshire College’s Ellesmere Port Campus.
