The third Northwich Teenage Market earlier this month was a success for young entrepreneurs.

Traders sold a range of bespoke items while performers from the Amplify Youth Music Project rocked the town as part of the organisation’s annual Paint The Town Red event.

Running from 10am-4pm on the High Street market allows the town’s youngsters to unleash their creativity and gain some valuable real-life experience.

Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best, especially in the morning, however those in attendance showed great versatility and perseverance.

The event was organised by the Northwich Business Improvement District (BID) and the Market Co.

Northwich BID manager Jane Hough said: “As has been the case with our previous events, I was full of admiration for the Teenage Market traders and Amplify performers who put on a great show.

“The range of unique items for sale was amazing and I also really enjoyed listening to the music coming from the two different stages.”
