MORE than 200 children have gone green and become junior recycling officers in West Cheshire.
The eco aware youngsters will promote the reduce, re-use and recycle message.
Now in its 16th year, the junior recycling club is going from strength to strength. The new officers from primary and junior schools across the district have received their certificates and recycling packs at launches held in Ellesmere Port and Chester.
Over the coming months they will organise events and competitions in their schools and will encourage their classmates, teachers, family and friends to recycle.
Next July they will compete for the title of junior recycling officer of the year.
