SCHOOLS in Cheshire West and Chester have the chance to collect old mobile phones in exchange for cash in a fundraising initiative.
Fones4Schools is one of the largest mobile phone collection and recycling campaigns for schools and youth organisations in the UK.
For every 200 phones collected, the school will receive £300 and each child that gets involved also receives a prize.
Started in 2004, Fones4Schools has worked with more than 7000 schools across the UK and has given away more than £2.2 million in the form of cash and prizes.
All the materials needed to launch and run a campaign are supplied completely free of charge.
