CHESTER: August 6-September 25 - Housing The City’s Treasures: The Early History of the Grosvenor Museum - exhibition looking at the early days of the museum, showcasing key objects from the founding collections as part of the venue’s 125th birthday celebrations, at Grosvenor Museum’s Newstead Gallery.
CHESTER: July 23-July 1 2012 - Fifties Frocks: Female Fashion from the 1950s - an exhibition of day and evening dresses, cocktail and dance dresses, ranging from the Parisian haute couture of Dior and Jacques Fath to those made in Wilmslow and Liverpool, at Grosvenor Museum’s Costume Gallery.
CHESTER: July 16-September 4 - Accessible Artefacts - an exhibition exploring the various methods used for making objects more accessible to visitors and using modern technology to enable people to view artefacts they would not normally be able to see, at Grosvenor Museum’s Exhibition Gallery One.

CHESTER: July 4-September 2 - Spotlight on Lache and Westminster - foyer exhibition looking at the people, streets, schools and events of this area of Chester using images from the collection at Chester History & Heritage in Bridge Street Row as well as contributions from the Lache and Westminster Local History Group.
CHESTER: May 28-July 31 - Keeping Order: Crime and Punishment in Chester - exhibition exploring crime and punishment in Victorian Chester, focusing on objects from the collection at Grosvenor Museum’s Newstead Gallery.
