CHESTER: A Medieval Christmas - met some medieval pilgrims as they visit Chester for the festive season at Chester Cathedral’s Chapter House from 10.30am-4.30pm.

CHESTER: Garden Quarter annual Christmas ‘Lighting Up’ bash at the intersection of Garden Lane and Louise Street from 6pm. Entertainment from the St. Thomas of Canterbury Junior School choir, Jane Wolfe and soloist Sarra Elliott and fireworks. Actors from Theatre in the Quarter present excerpts from Silent Night at Garden Lane Methodist Church.

TUESDAY

CHESTER: Tai Chi classes take place at the Old Chapel in Hoole, from 6.30-8.30pm. The class costs £6 and participants can just turn up on the night.

WEDNESDAY

CHESTER: Society of Thirteen joint lecture with the Royal Aeronautical Society on Spy Satellites - a Force for Peace during the Cold War, and still today by Pat Norris at the King’s School in Wrexham Road, at 7.30pm.

THURSDAY

CHESTER: Winter watch parade, starting from the Eastgate Clock, at 7pm.
