CHESTER: St Petersburg Study Day - a day of lectures by Adrian Sumner looking at the great wealth of art ansd architecture to be found in St Petersburg, at the Griosvenor Museum Lecture Theatre from 10.30am-3.30pm. Cost £10 including lunch, tea and coffee. To book, ring 01244 402427.

LITTLE SUTTON: Christmas fair at Little Sutton Methodist Church from 10.30am-12.30pm. Admission free.

MOLD: Mold and District Choral Society will hold their annual autumn fair at the Daniel Owen Centre from 8.30am.

CHRISTLETON: Christleton Churches Together: village tea room, at the methodist church, 2pm-4.30pm each Sunday afternoon in June, July and August. Drinks and home-made cakes. Proceeds to charity.

CHESTER: Chester Society for Landscape History meeting with talk on Ridge and Furrow versus the Hedge and Ditch by Professor Graeme White at the Grosvenor Museum at 7.30pm. Non-members £3.

TUESDAY

CHESTER: Chester Film Society presents a screening of the 2005 film Havana Blues at the Little Theatre in Gloucester Street, Newtown, at 7.45pm. Admission £3.50. Ring 01244 371750.

HOLYWELL: Fairground rides from 3pm onwards in Holywell Town Centre. Switching on of the town's Christmas Lights 5pm. Visit by Father Christmas 5.05pm. Free fireworks display 6.30pm. Ring 01745 710333.
