KINGSLEY: Kingsley Community Playing Field is being transformed into a colourful carnival at 2pm featuring samba bands, martial arts demonstrations, gymnastic displays, a circus workshop and a bouncy castle.
PORT SUNLIGHT: Car boot sale at the Gladstone Theatre from 7.30am-noon. Pitches have to be reserved in advance by contacting 0151 334 8659. All proceeds go to the theatre's Improvement Fund Appeal and will help with the cost of box office extensions planned for later in the summer.
TARPORLEY: Annual village carnival featuring a parade, The Wacky Tumblairs comedy trampoline act, Clan Urquhart Pipe Band, James Gilman Dog & Ducks, Guides & Scouts, a tug of war, entertainers, stalls, rides and more. The parade begins at 1pm, with the grand opening to be held at Tarporley Community Centre at 1.45pm. Adult admission is £1.50, and those under 16 go free.
TARPORLEY: The next Java Jive freestyle event will be held at Tarporley Community Centre at 8pm. Tickets are £7 and can be obtained on the door.
