LEE Scratch Perry is the godfather of dub and the high priest of reggae – and he can be seen live at Eric’s in Liverpool on Sunday.
From 1970s Jamaica to the present day, his music has been consistently excellent and his influence consistently enormous.
In 1973, Perry built a studio in his back yard, The Black Ark, and produced notable musicians such as Bob Marley & the Wailers.
