AUSTRALIAN star Jason Donovan is to reprise his role in Priscilla Queen Of The Desert as the show opens in Manchester.
The UK tour premiere of the international smash hit musical will begin at the Manchester Opera House on Saturday, February 9, and run until Saturday, February 23.
Eighties heartthrob Jason Donovan will reprise the role of Tick, the part he played when the show originally opened in the West End.
Over the years the star has enjoyed a successful career as an actor and recording artist, selling more than 13 million albums to date.
Richard Grieve, best known for playing Jonny Foster in Emmerdale, will take the role of Bernadette in the show and the part of Felicia will be played by theatre star Graham Weaver.
Based on the hit movie, Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The Musical is the heart-warming, uplifting adventure of three friends who hop aboard a battered old bus in search of love and friendship.
