Glasvegas to play Liverpool O2 Academy

SCOTTISH indie-rockers Glasvegas have announced their first UK dates of 2012 with a shows scheduled for Liverpool in April

Their new three-gig tour – which also includes dates in London and their home town of Glasgow – comes almost exactly a year after the release of their second album Euphoric Heartbreak, and the band will be playing tracks from the release as well as their eponymous debut and forthcoming third record.

After touring the world in 2011, the band – James Allan (vocals), Rab Allan (guitar), Paul Donoghue (bass) and Jonna Lofgren (drums) – started writing and demoing for the next album at the end of last year and are currently working on new songs. They play Liverpool’s O2 Academy2 on April 4.
