THE Victoria Hall in Hanley will pay homage to the life and music Johnny Cash next week, courtesy of Roger Dean and his show The Johnny Cash Story.
Audiences will enjoy over two hours of storytelling magic featuring his biggest hits, including I Walk The Line, Ring of Fire, Get Rhythm and Hurt, charting Johnny’s rise from poverty stricken beginnings in rural Arkansas to world stardom.
A shows spokesman said: “Along with his band the Lazy Boys he will keep you spellbound with his knowledge of the country music legend.”
Roger Dean rose to fame following his BBC television debut at the age of 14 and he secured his first of many radio broadcasts soon after performing the music of Johnny Cash.
He said: “Rather than attempting to mimic the great Johnny Cash, my band and I have developed our own style over the years.
“We treat audiences to a slick, tried and tested show.”
The show starts at 7.30pm on Saturday, February 11. Tickets are priced £22, to book call the box office on 0844 871 7649 or visit www.atgtickets.com/Victoria-Hall
