Peter Hook to star in second Hacienda night at The Laugh Inn, Chester

Haçienda night returns to Chester at the Laugh Inn on Saturday and presents two more legendary original DJs.

The event features a musical mix of classics and new tunes, from house to hip hop, funk to techno, electronica to anthems, over two rooms, with three bars and a dance floor, with a stage DJ box and balcony area in the main room.

This second Haçienda night presents two more genuine musical legends in Peter Hook (of Joy Division and New Order) and Kelvin Andrews (of Golden and Candy Flip).

Both were crucially important links in the story of British house music and will be playing sets of classic and modern house and genres of dance music.

Sonny Woods and his Planet of the Breaks crew plus Stet, Deviant and other guests will play a selection of hip hop, funk, soul, reggae and disco.

John Locke, director of the Laugh Inn, said: “Peter travels the world presenting the Haçienda sets with great success and, having spoken to him following our first show, he was particularly interested in coming along and being part of this great musical scene in Chester.

“This will be a chance for those who missed our first Haçienda in September to get a taste of what the best club in the world was like – and for those who were there at the time to recall the best nights of their lives.”
