AUTHOR Kevin Sampson will be answering questions when the film based on his best-selling novel Awaydays is shown at FACT in Liverpool.
The 2009 British film was directed by Pat Holden and produced by Dave Hughes and stars Nicky Bell, Liam Boyle, Stephen Graham, Holliday Grainger, Oliver Lee, Rebecca Atkinson and Sasha Parkinson.
The film follows Paul Carty (Bell), a 19-year-old in the aftermath of his mother’s death.
Carty is fascinated by The Pack – a legendary group of football hooligans who wear Peter Storm jackets, carry stanley knives and follow Tranmere Rovers FC.
Tickets for the show on February 20 are £12 and £9 for concession and include a complimentary drink at 3345 Parr Street after the screening.
There will also be a Q&A after the showing with Sampson and producer Dave Hughes.
Tickets are available from the box office at FACT cinema on Wood Street, Liverpool.
