WATCHA gonna’ do when hulkamania runs wild on you?
As childhood heroes go, few can match the worldwide fame of arguably American wrestling’s most famous export Hulk Hogan.
Known for his 24ins biceps – his ‘pythons’ – as he calls them, his clean-cut, all-American image made him an icon to generations of fans from the 80s and 90s, right up to present day.
Tomorrow night the Manchester Arena will witness the man himself in the flesh.
The 58-year-old hulkster – real name Terry Gene Bollea – will take to the squared circle alongside the likes of legends past and present Sting, Kurt Angle, AJ Styles and Bobby Roode for TNA Wrestling’s Maximum Impact IV Tour.
Announcing the news on social networking site Twitter, Hogan said: “There is gonna be some impact in the UK, hulkamania is coming and you know what happens when it’s running wild brother!”
His fellow superstars will join Hulk to shoot two all-new episodes of top-rated Challenge TV show TNA Impact Wrestling at their Wembley date, in front of thousands of British fans.
The TNA Impact Wrestling and TNA Xplosion cameras will also be in Manchester to shoot additional footage.
Sting’s appearance on the tour will be his first in the UK in a decade and the final time he will wrestle in the country – with his last ever British matches taking place.
TNA Impact Wrestling airs every Sunday night on Challenge TV, which can be found on Sky channel 125, Freeview channel 46 and Virgin Media channel 139.
Tickets for the TNA Maximum Impact IV Tour priced from £22.50-£50 excluding booking fee can be bought at www.gigsandtours.com or on 0844 811 0051.
The show starts at 7pm.
