LOVINGLY ripped off from the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spamalot has been given a revamp with a book by Eric Idle and an entirely new score.
Following a staggeringly successful UK tour in 2010, the production will return to the Liverpool Empire from January 16-21.
The Liverpool run reunites comedian Marcus Brigstocke, talent star Jodie Prenger and Eastenders’ Todd Carty from the original national cast.
Audiences around the world have been roaring with laughter since Monty Python’s Spamalot won the Tony Award for Best Musical.
It tells the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table and features a bevy of beautiful show girls, witch burnings and not to mention cows, killer rabbits and French people.
The show features fantastic tunes more magical than a Camelot convention, including He Is Not Dead Yet, Knights Of The Round Table, Find Your Grail and, of course, Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life.
The show runs from January 16-21. Tickets are £16-£43.50, to book call 0844 871 7660.
