THERE are just a few nights left to run of a hit show that celebrates the life of one of music’s most tragic legends.
Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story is on every night at the Liverpool Empire until Saturday, December 3.
Written and produced by Alan Janes, the show’s producers pledge ‘two terrific hours of timeless classic hits’.
Buddy tells the story of the three years in which he became the world’s top recording artist with a show that features more than 20 of his greatest hits.
The singer died 50 years ago in a plane crash aged just 22.
Alan said: “We’ve just completed our 450th week on the road in the UK and continue to be amazed and delighted by the reaction of audiences up and down the country.
“In these cash-strapped times Buddy really is the perfect antidote for recession depression.”
