Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds announce seven extra tour dates including Liverpool Echo Arena

FORMER Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher has announced more tour dates for his latest venture.

The High Flying Birds have added seven dates including the Liverpool Echo Arena on September 6, 2012.

The 85,000 tickets for the seven first gigs are already sold out.

Other extra cities on the tour include Sheffield, Nottingham and Cardiff.

Tickets for the new shows are on sale now.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds album debuted at number one last month.

It is one of only four albums this year with sales in excess of 100,000 in it’s first week and has now been certified platinum.

Music magazine NME has welcomed his return to the stage. It said: “To have a whole gig of Noel’s expressive voice is a treat.”
