Widnes group Split Ends Theatre company to perform Little Red at The Brindley in Runcorn

TICKETS are still available to see a pantomime with a twist when it is brought to life by Widnes-based Split Ends Theatre Company.

Little Red follows its eponymous heroine, who is sent off on a magical journey to granny’s house.

Along the way she must encounter the plot of a wicked queen, avoid the big bad wolf, make her dreams come true with a hunky woodcutter and get granny’s food to her on time.

The past 12 months have been a busy year for Split Ends.

They performed their last show Project 13 to a sell-out audience at The Studio in Widnes and also took part in West End showcase Magic At The Musicals at the Brindley and The Studio last month.

A Brindley spokesman said: “Split Ends Theatre presents a fun, magical and silly adventure that the whole family can enjoy! “Little Red is a light-hearted tale accompanied by music from various eras to guarantee an exciting evening for everyone!”

Michael Pirks, head writer at Split Ends Theatre, said: “Split Ends never seems to stop and that is how we like it.”

Little Red takes place at The Brindley on November 24 at 7pm and is suitable for all the family.

Tickets, priced £8 and £6, can be booked on 0151 907 8360 or online at www.thebrindley.org.uk
