Comedian Bill Bailey brings new live show to the Echo Arena Liverpool

COMIC and musician Bill Bailey has announced he will tour his smash hit live show Dandelion Mind across the UK this winter, coming to Echo Arena Liverpool on November 14.

Following a sell out tour of the show in Australia and New Zealand, Bill took up a West End residency with the show last autumn.

Featuring Bill’s trademark musical interludes, observations and stories of the road, Dandelion Mind is based loosely on the theme of doubt, plus barely contained rants about celebrity, TV, and Michael Winner.Š

He demonstrates new instruments, both ancient and modern, he sings an internet love song, a lament about punk heroes, Iranian hip-hop and plays a mean folk-bouzouki.Š

Thomas the Doubter gets a new look, the finer points of nuclear physics and the myth of intelligent design are all worked over in Bill’s own surreal style.

He revisits the music of his youth with a French disco re-working of Gary Numan’s hit Cars, played in his own inimitable way.

Bill nurtured Dandelion Mind during a tour of the Scottish Highlands and Northern Britain in May of last year.Š

Performing to small intimate crowds, the sell out tour took in some remote places including the Shetland Isles and Outer Hebrides.Š

Bill then went from playing at some of his smallest gigs to one of his biggest, performing a huge open air homecoming gig at Bristol’s Ashton Gate Stadium in June.Š

This was followed by an international tour of the show across Australia and New Zealand.

British Comedy Award winner Bill has enjoyed success on the live stage for many years.

Bill is currently developing ideas for film and television with his own production company, Glassbox Productions, who are responsible for bringing to the screen Tinselworm, the multi award-winning Bill Bailey’s Remarkable Guide to the Orchestra and Dandelion Mind.Š
