Phoenix Dance Theatre come to The Brindley in Runcorn

THERE’S a chance to see one of the country’s leading contemporary dance companies when Phoenix Dance Theatre visit The Brindley in Runcorn.

The one-night only treat takes place on Tuesday, November 8 with their exciting Declarations mixed programme.

The performance features three critically acclaimed works and the return of a treasured audience favourite.

The evening opens with Warren Adams’s piece The Audacious One, a dramatic, tense and gripping work inspired by Barack Obama’s landmark speech.

Isira Makuloluwe’s Locked In Vertical sees four dancers wind and unfurl themselves through ever more complex dance is a piece that is both technically challenging and visually stunning.

Philip Taylor’s Haunted Passages is a classic from the company’s repertoire, set in an eerie world that is not quite a dream. The bill finishes with the latest work by renowned choreographer Aletta Collins.
