Unforgettable will treat music-lovers to a cornucopia of the diverse creativity and talents that burst onto the world stage in the post-war years.
The show is at The Brindley on Friday, November 11, and organisers pledge that it will bring to life some of the most iconic acts of the last century. They will be performing the songs of Elvis Presley, Nat King Cole, Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers, Frankie Valley, Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick, The Beach Boys, The Carpenters, The Beatles, Patsy Cline and many more.
Performers will be re-creating the heyday of the acts – many of which are no longer with us themselves.
Described as having four leading artists delivering first class vocals and harmonies and backed by world-class musicians, the first set features the post war, early rock ‘n’ roll music of the 1950s providing an authentic feel to the glamour era of the period.
The second set will include the high energy pop sounds of the 60s.
The fast-moving, high-impact show is packed with back-to-back hits and medleys featuring tracks taking fans right back on a journey of complete nostalgia or introducing music fans to the era that changed the face of popular culture forever, and whose influence can still be heard today.
Songs include Dream Dream, Bye Bye Love, Say A Little Prayer, Under The Moon Of Love, Crazy, Close To You, Move Over Darling and many, many more.
