THE National Schools Film Week festival is showcasing a range of top titles at The Brindley and Cineworld from October 13-21.
Films on show will include Winnie The Pooh, The Fighter, Rio, The King’s Speech and Smurfs.
Nick Walker, NSFW festival director, said: “Our hope is for teachers and students to feel massively engaged in the festival, as it is an incredible opportunity not only to build the adventurous, film-loving audience of the future but also to develop the kinds of passion in young people more likely to make them more receptive to this collectively experienced art form.”
Schools are advised to book tickets early. For more information or to book tickets visit www.nationalschoolsfilmweek.org.
