Glenn Miller musical The Bugle Boy to be staged at Rhyl Pavilion

ICONIC American bandleader Glenn Miller is the subject of a toe-tapping new musical which visits the Pavilion Theatre in Rhyl next week.

The Bugle Boy is a new musical about the life and music of 1940s musician and bandleader Glenn Miller and features many of his world famous tunes.

It is both a celebration of the Glenn Miller ‘sound’ and a love story – a story of one man’s sheer determination to find a unique sound.

The talented cast of actors and musicians deliver a show which traces the iconic bandleader’s life from his teenage years to his mysterious disappearance in 1944.

The toe-tapping score includes 30 songs, including Moonlight Serenade, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Pennsylvania 6-5000, String Of Pearls, St Louis Blues March, American Patrol, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and In The Mood.

The Bugle Boy can be seen at the Pavilion Theatre, Rhyl, from September 29-October 1. Call 01745 33 00 00 or visit www.rhylpavilion.co.uk.
