Comic Mark Watson to perform at The Brindley in Runcorn

TICKETS are still available to see one of the country’s most well-known comics when he heads to Runcorn.

Mark Watson takes to the stage at The Brindley on Wednesday October 19 as part of his Request Stops tour – after the venue was suggested by fans on his website.

Last year, Mark invited fans to suggest destinations for his 2011 shows.

Over the pastfew months he has been sifting the suggestions and calculating the most popular choices from what remained, and Runcorn proved one of the most popular!

Watson has made regular appearances on BBC Two’s comedy panel show Mock The Week; he has also been a panellist on BBC music quiz show Never Mind The Buzzcocks four times in addition to appearing on current affairs panel show Have I Got News for You.

He has also starred in the popular BBC panel show Would I Lie To You?.

From now until Christmas he will traverse the country to perform at more than 50 specially requested towns.
