THE musical that provokes a standing ovation every night is to visit Rhyl and Wirral theatres.
Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers has long been hailed as one of the best musicals of all time.
This epic tale of Liverpool life has been running in London’s West End, since July 1988 and touring the UK since 1995.
It tells the captivating and moving story of twin boys separated at birth but reunited by a twist of fate.
The memorable score includes A Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the emotionally charged hit Tell Me It’s Not True.
When Mrs Johnstone, a young mother of seven, is deserted by her husband she takes a job as a housekeeper to make ends meet. But when she discovers herself to be pregnant with twins, she enters a secret pact with her employer which leads to the show’s shattering climax.
