VETERAN comedian Jim Davidson is heading for the Pavilion Theatre, Rhyl, on Wednesday, August 17, for an adults-only show.
Davidson has been one of the most popular entertainers in British showbusiness over the years.
He has received three coveted Showbusiness Personality of the Year awards from Variety Club of Great Britain, Comic Heritage and from The Grand Order of Water Rats.
In the New Year’s Honours list 2001 he was made an OBE for his services to charity.
Since emerging from television’s New Faces he has topped theatre bills in London’s West End and at major venues across the country; starred in and hosted a series of prime-time TV shows including BBC TV’s Big Break and The Generation Game; headlined record-breaking summer seasons and pantomimes; and played highly successful concert tours with his adult show.
