Currently rehearsing edgy comedies Bouncers and The Woman Who Cooked Her Husband, the company – based at the city’s The Forum Studio – is preparing a new season packed with variety and entertainment.
Tip Top Productions, which has gone from strength to strength since it launched its studio theatre in 2007, will kick-start the season with its version of Alan Bennett’s The History Boys, from September 15-24.
Then on October 2 Five Star Swing will return to the theatre for the third time to bring a toe-tapping twist to the swing era with In The Mood.
From October 5-7 visiting company Limelight productions will take to the stage with its production of The Humble Boy by Charlotte James.
