Award-winning playwright Mike Bartlett’s Love, Love, Love comes to Liverpool Playhouse

THE latest play by award-winning writer Mike Bartlett, Love, Love, Love, is a provocative and entertaining story that pitches the baby boomer generation against their children and demands to know where we go from here.

The production comes to the Liverpool Playhouse from May 5-7.

It’s 1967 and Kenneth and Sandra know the world is changing. And they want some of it. Love, Love, Love takes on the baby boomer generation as it retires, and finds it full of trouble.

Smoking, drinking, ambitious and paranoid, one couple’s forty-year journey from initial burst to full bloom.

Mike Bartlett is an Olivier Award winning playwright.

His last play Earthquakes In London premiered at the National Theatre in August 2010 and was hailed as ‘the best new play of the year’ by The Stage.

Mike has written extensively for London’s Royal Court Theatre, where he was Pearson Playwright in Residence in 2007.
