Comedian Kevin Precious to perform at the Brindley, Runcorn

A teacher will have the audience rolling in the aisles when he tells hilarious tales of unruly students and strange colleagues.

Kevin Precious will be performing his new stage show, Not Appropriate, at The Brindley on May 26.

The show’s title speaks for itself – the stories told are not appropriate for the classroom, and is the most overused term of disapproval in the teacher’s vocabulary.

Jam-packed with observational humour, the show will appeal to anyone who has ever taught, or in fact, ever been to school.

A man of many talents, Precious made his first appearance on the stage as a teenage bass player, then went on to be a head of religious studies while chasing his dream to be a top comedian performing at venues such as the Rawhide in Liverpool, and the Frog and Bucket in Manchester.

In 2008 Precious attended the Loaded Lafta Awards, presenting awards to comedians such as Jimmy Carr and Harry Enfield.

The Evening Standard said: “If he were any more laid back he’d fall over – we fell over laughing.”
