NANTWICH pub The Boot & Shoe will hold its own free Easter music festival this weekend.
Opening on Friday from 8-10pm are indie-rockers The Targets, who take time out from a busy USA-Canada tour to play at the Hospital Street pub.
Saturday sees psychedelic rock ‘n’ roll outfit The Riots play from 8-10pm.
The Stoke-based band have headlined venues such as The Sugarmill and The Underground and this is their first visit to The Boot.
Sunday is a double-bill, with three-piece rock, blues and roots band Texas Medicine playing from 3-5pm.
They perform tracks from the likes of Muddy Waters, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, John Lennon and Johnny Cash.
Then from 8-10pm, indie-acoustic band The Seen make a return appearance.
They perform original material as well as unique takes on bands like Kasabian, The Who, The Stones and Kings of Leon.
Closing the festival on Monday from 3-5pm are The Black Cat Trio, sure to have you rockin’ and a rollin’ with their 1950’s jive, stroll and bop.
