ANOTHER packed week of music is ready to be unleashed on the Jolly Tar faithful.
Tonight (Wednesday) sees the return of the Pepper Town Band, which features several members of the popular Salt City Jazzmen and who play traditional jazz in a traditional way.
Regular favourites Steve Hayes and Les Hunt return tomorrow.
A venue spokesman said: “Expect some mighty fine guitar work, some great vocals and a little bit of stage banter from these boys. They are definitely a class act.”
Friday sees American guitar maestro Chris Cook visit the Jolly Tar.
His style is described as a mix between Marvin Gaye, Delbert McClinton and The Allman Brothers.
On the same night Jim Kirkpatrick and his Heavy Weather boys give their usual top drawer performance of rock and blues.
Finally on Saturday, Free and Bad Company tribute act Freestealer are in town.
All gigs are free and start at 9.30pm, apart from Chris Cook who begins his set at 9pm.
