Joe Longthorne coming to Rhyl Pavilion

SINGER Joe Longthorne has been a household name in Britain for more than 25 years and continues to be in constant demand as a live performer.

He first came to British public attention in 1981 when he was a finalist on London Weekend Television’s Search For A Star, which led to appearances at the London Palladium with Bob Hope, a slot on The Royal Variety Performance and appearances on The Talk Of The Town programme.

In 1987 he starred in the popular BBC series The Les Dennis Laughter Show and went on to be given his own television series The Joe Longthorne Show by Central Television for three consecutive seasons.

The enormous popularity that he gained through these television shows put him in great demand for live theatre performances.

Over the years he has played to packed houses all over the country including the prestigious London Palladium where he has shared the stage with the likes of Bruce Forsyth, Diana Ross and the late Bob Hope.

Joe Longthorne will be at the Pavilion Theatre, Rhyl, tomorrow (Friday) at 7.30pm.

Tickets £22.50 (concessions £2 off). Call 01745 330000 or visit www.rhylpavilion.co.uk.
