From The Jam to get stuck in at The Sugarmill in Hanley

PUNK rock legend Bruce Foxton brings his band From The Jam to The Sugarmill in Hanley tomorrow (Thursday).

Formed in 2007, From The Jam gained an immediate reputation for the kind of incendiary live performances that sealed the reputation of The Jam all those years ago and 2010 was another busy year.

Founding member and drummer Rick Buckler left in 2009, but Bruce was quick to acknowledge the band’s debt to him.

He said: “Both Russ and myself are sorry that Rick has decided to leave.

“I want to personally thank him for the very special time we shared both on and off stage. FTJ will continue onwards.”

Founding Big Country member Mark Brzezicki has been drafted in as a replacement.

The Jam had amazing chart success, with 18 singles and seven albums making the Top 40 in the UK from their debut in 1977 to their break-up in 1982.

Tickets are £20. For further information and to book, visit www.thesugarmill.co.uk.
