Scissor Sisters to play at Haydock Park racecourse

AMERICAN glam-pop band the Scissor Sisters are the latest high-profile act confirmed to perform at Haydock Park this summer.

The group will perform at the racecourse on Saturday, July 16.

Formed in 2001, the Scissor Sisters biggest British hit was I Don't Feel Like Dancin' , which topped the singles chart for four weeks in 2006.

And a capacity crowd is expected for a night of racing and revelling.

Prices for the Tattersalls Enclosure are £30 for adults and £15 for children, the County Enclosure is £45 for adults and £22.50 for children and the Premier Suite, which is limited to 450 people, is £60 for adults and £30 for children.

Gates will open at 4.40pm, the first race is scheduled for 6.40pm, and the Scissor Sisters will be on stage after the final race finishes at 9.10pm.

Parking at the venue is free of charge.
